All glory be to God

I’d like to tell you a story, if I may.  One in which I was personally involved.

In October, Orange Lamb ministries took on an extensive, difficult project.  It involved a rental house that had been badly damaged.  The house belonged to a widow who was facing the necessity of making staggering repairs. When Orange Lamb Ministries became aware of the situation, they decided to step in.  They offered to do all the work necessary to put the house in good repair, in exchange for a year’s use of it for a Ukrainian family.

Overwhelmed by the magnitude of the problem, the amazed widow gratefully accepted the offer, and the work began.  Because of the condition of the property, as expected, the clean-up and repairs proved to be extensive.  They involved not only the inside of the house, but also extended to the outside of the house and the rater sizable yard.

God is indeed faithful to provide.

Through the cooperation and help of several local churches, and with the work of well over a hundred different volunteers, the house has not only been repaired, but updated! (Extensive water damage fixed, plumbing repairs, new flooring throughout, completely painted both inside and out, fences repaired, and sidewalk poured).  And that doesn’t describe the amount of work required to cut and trim numerous overgrown trees and shrubs.

Some of those who saw the condition of the house at the beginning were dubious.  However, everyone who has seen the ‘new’ house agrees that there has been an amazing transformation.   It is clean, updated, and will be a very nice home for the new family who will soon be moving in.   In addition, to fixing the house, the house had been furnished by of the generosity of many different people.

It is now occupied by an Ukrainian family with four children, that were forced to flee from the war,  to safely.

It is my prayer that everyone who contributed, or worked on this project has been as blessed by their participation as I have been.

All glory be to God.

Who am I?  I am the widow who has watched the Lord perform a miracle through His people. I have not only been blessed by the quality of the work done in the house, but, perhaps even more-so by the example of the generous, cheerful, participation of everyone involved.   I have been especially blessed by the sacrificial effort, (planning, time, hard work, and dedication) of the leadership of Orange Lamb Ministries who so worked tirelessly.

Special thanks to the following group of people, companies, churches, for participating, dedicating their time & labor, material, helping with the remodel of this home. Making an impossible remodel into reality, all under 30 days. Without your services, it wouldn’t  have happened so quickly and professionally.  May the Lord bless you abundantly without measure!
